LCDR Roszko is a current active duty US Public Health Service Officer assigned to the VA leading integration of telehealth into VA 4th Mission and interagency disaster response programs. He is the VA liaison to the National Center for Disaster Medicine & Public Health NDMS Pilot program, developing recommendations to strengthen the NDMS to support the US military in response to large scale conflicts. He is also a member of the VA Emergency Ambulance Services leadership team to develop an organic, national EMS program. He is a US Navy veteran (8 years active duty) and served in multiple roles including: Naval Medical Forces Atlantic Regional EMS Medical Director, SMT Medical Director, Project Caladrius Medical Director, Navy En Route Clinical Community co-chair, and Joint Trauma System CoERCCC voting member. He is hte current NAEMSP Military & Federal EMS Chapter president and a member of the Board of Directors for the Government Services chapter of ACEP. He also serves as the Assistant Jurisdictional Medical Director for Prince George's County Fire & Emergency Services and is an Assistant Professor of Military & Emergency Medicine at the Uniformed Services University.
