Dr. Karen Skop is the Program Director for the PREP or Post deployment Rehab & Evaluation Program at James A Haley, Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa. Since 2008 she has been the lead Physical Therapist on PREP and directly involved in patient care, management, research and development the program. Dr. Skop has been practicing in the field of vestibular rehabilitation for over 20 years, she is nationally recognized in the field of vestibular rehabilitation and the physical effects of mild TBI on an individual throughout their lifespan. She is an Assistant Professor with the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine and has served as an SME for TBICoE, VA/DOD Evidence-Based Practice Workgroup and the American Physical Therapy Association.
