Major David Korb is the Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellow at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Cavazos, TX. He entered military service in 2015 as a Registered Dietitian and as the Chief of the Nutrition Care Division while assigned to Reynolds Army
Community Hospital. In 2017, Major Korb attended the Interservice Physician Assistant Program where he earned Distinguished Honor Graduate for class 18-1. His initial assignment as a Physician Assistant was with 4 th CAV BDE, Fort Knox, KY where he served as the Brigade Medical Operations Officer and Planner. In 2023, Major Korb entered the emergency medicine doctoral program through Baylor University which he successfully completed in 2025 and immediately began fellowship training in point of care ultrasound. Major Korb’s military awards include the
Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (Silver Oak Leaf), Air Assault Badge, Aviation Medicine Badge, and the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge.
