Jonathan Casey, MD, MSCI is a physician-scientist and clinical researcher with an appointment as an Assistant Professor for the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Casey's research focuses on the comparative effectiveness of standard-of-care interventions. Dr. Casey and the Pragmatic Critical Care Research Group (PCCRG), for which he serves as director of the Clinical Coordinating Center, has developed novel approaches to embedding "pragmatic" randomized clinical trials within clinical care to rapidly generate evidence for common management dilemmas.
